Some more things to knock off that list

Well it’s been the best 4 days I could wish for. And to add to that, I now get to take some things of “that list of stuff to do before you die”. To be honest, before Thursday I didn’t really know they should be on the list..
  • Go to Slovenia – Such a beautiful county, I hope I get to go back one day
  • Go to a Slovenian Wedding – They are simply the best. Or it could just have been the one I went to, but it was one heck of an experience
  • Dance with a Slovenian Barmaid – Awww good times
  • Have a champagne breakfast – Why not
  • Eat Caviar – Nice
  • Swim in a Salt water pool – Interestingly weird and wonderful
  • Take a Turkish Sauna – Wow
  • Stay in a 5 star hotel - It’s simply the best
  • Drink Raki - Well, It’s certainly worth having at least one shot. When you get into the realms of 10 shots.. maybe time to go to bed.
  • Go on a Hen Do!! – Didn’t get a pink flowery necklace mind do, but I did get to drink some weird stuff, mainly named after the colour it was!
  • Go on holiday with the Wife’s family – Was good fun
The only issue with the above coming off the list, is that it’s made me realise that I want to carry on doing them!!

The daily commute

Our journey to work today was rather interesting. Within 5 minutes I had my car spat on, and a van tried to crush the front of my car!!

The spitting incident consisted of a "moron" winding down the window on his mercedes convertible and then spitting out of it. Sadly my car was next to his, so we got the brunt of it.. I made my feelings known!

Two minutes later I was in the lane that would continue straight on, but the "white van" on the right of me, wanted to be in the lane on the left of me. I was so happy to see him just pull in front of me, break, and then continue into the left hand lane. No indication (as that is overrated), and no apology (as he would have to accept he was wrong).

I hate the daily commute, roll on the weekend..

Hawaii

I think I have pretty much told anyone who will listen, that we didn’t enjoy the Hawaiian part of the honeymoon as much as San Francisco, but here are some photos:

The island is lovely, and we had a good time, but we won’t be going back. Not all places are for everyone, and I think Hawaii isn’t for us. But look on the bright side, we have been, and that is another dot on a map.

Also, we survived the Tsunami of February 2010 (Enjoying a footlong Subway whilst the waves came in)

San Francisco

Just some pictures from the San Francisco part of our honeymoon.

I think I am now on the brink of ditching Flickr and just using Facebook for uploading pictures. This is such a huge decision it will take some time to come to terms with it. Flickr is now saying I can only upload 200 pictures and after that it will only show the recent images, unless I go to pro. I know the pro account is cheap, but it makes you think, what is the point of it? So I can show pictures to people – they aren't the most creative pictures in the world, they are more personal to me. And in that case, isn't that what Facebook is?

Hmmm, I'll have to have some alone time to think about it. But for now, check them out.
